Made in England

My Grandad always wore a Fred Perry and Levis, so back in 1980 when most of the kids at school starting taking on this look it was no hardship for me to fully embrace it. The only thing I had to do was get the obligatory 1/8 inch cut with tram lines.
It was only in assembly the next morning when the full realisation of the hair cut hit me, walking in to the main hall class by class with what felt like the whole school looking at me. The cut didn't have the same feel without my Fred or my Oxblood loafers on!!
Now at 41, and being a bit of a Mod still, I am still wearing Fred Perry today. I may be more particular on the item I buy, like a Raf Simons polo or the Terry Hall jumper, (Thank you FP), but feel the label is as important to me now as it was back all those years ago.
