Jim

Taken at Alan McGee's (Singed Oasis, Primal Scream) Greasy Lips Night Ruby Lounge in Manchester. Alan runs nights in London, Manchester and Glasgow giving a showcase for what he considers the best unsigned acts in the UK. Jim is the Bass Player with a Group called the Modern Faces. He caught my eye as he was leaping around like Pete Townsend (The Who) His image, the Music, the location, reminded me of a scene out of Quadraphenia and what it must have been like to be at those Clubs at the height of the 60's. This is my best shot of him as he leaps around so much, the Club is dark are no flash was allowed. I'm just a music fan who likes to see new music in small intimate venues, who sometimes carries a camera. Hope you love the photo as much as Jim and I?
