A teenage 21st Century Mod

This is me, showing off my favourite Fred Perry shirt! I love the colours, navy, white and pale blue!

It was said in the book 'I'm one, 21st Century Mods' by Horst A. Friedrichs, "A real Mod does not choose to be a Mod, they discover that they are a Mod. It is not just a fashion statement; It is the way you feel and act and express yourself. Mod is in the soul." I discovered I was a Mod after hearing 'The Jam' singing 'A town called Malice" which got me going and dancing round the house! I bagan to listen to other bands such as The Who and The Kinks, and I became A Mod at quite a young age. I started to get the clothes a Mod would wear, the polo shirts buttoned to the top and skinny ties with shirts. Now I'm 14 years old and able to afford the Fred Perry clothes and I've even got my friends into the style and made them watch the best film of all time 'Quadrophenia', I have learnt alot about the Mods through this film.
I love being a Mod, and can't wait until i'm old enough and able to afford my own Vespa, designed in my own way!bb
