today I see the Beatles

From father to son. He also gave me many vinyls.
"Mamma, today I'm going to the Beatles concert"...can you imagine? :)
When you're young, you think everything has a future. Then you see everything for sure has a past. So this one, a historic event. The Beatles split in 1970.
2,999 fans + my father were waiting for them, but the train arrived on another railroad. They were taken to the hotel on 4 Milan Alfa Romeo convertible sport cars (Alfa Romeo has Milan-England flag in its symbol and Fred Perry logo is very similar to the one of the 1st city of fashion, Milan). I have photos of my father's one, he was so cool :). He used to play tennis (still has those old-fashioned rackets), so Fred Perry was a must-have.
At Vigorelli velodrome they performed a double show, in the afternoon (very hot 38°C, 7,000 young people, my father was 19), and evening (20,000 adult), 35 minutes, Paul McCartney introduced the songs speaking Italian!
Twist&Shout, She's A Woman, I'm A Loser, Can't Buy Me Love, Baby's In Black, I Wanna Be Your Man, Hard Day's Night, Everybody's Trying To Be My Baby, Rock&Roll Music, I Feel Fine, Ticket To Ride (the best song according to Noel Gallagher), Long Tall Sally.
They were very elegant, and Paul had his Hofner bass, John Lennon with Rickenbacker guitar and his typical hat, George Harrison with his Gretsch, Ringo Starr behind the drums with Beatles unmistakeable logo as Fred Perry's one
