Old Veteran!!!

Naked I entered the world and in a Fred Perry Polo I will most likely leave it... From my first steps on this planet, subcultures have surrounded me and they have all been singled out by them mighty laurel wreath patterns we have come to know and love.

I started out in the mid 80s... A cocky little yout' in a white Fred Perry polo, Puma Beckers... A penchant for Merrydown and trying to unsuccessfully get laid...Yeah maybe down on my luck, but Fred stood by me.

Britpop days and I escaped Poly without an overdraft, landed a job in an office and started pulling in Fred... It was times of optimism but I left the UK for what I thought would be a brief sojourn in South Africa...

13 years later... fast forward, Andy's stag do... Prince Buster Edinburgh, an old skool reunion of the lads... Fred Perry and loafers everywhere, that was it next day, 35 quid later, black polo... I ain't ever looked back since.
