Hazel O Connor-Fred Perry.

1979 and two tone & scoots & skins,my lifes path .My 1st black & yellow tipped fred perry from leeds maket I loved it.Smart & sharp age 11.bank hols in Scarbrough with family & friends and a scooter rally being on bliss.Jump to 1984 & saw the Breaking Glass movie,Hazel O Connor,fantastic,I managed to buy the DVD last year 2010 on ebay love it.watching the skins,the music ,everything. Jump to the present,Oct 2011 at Fibbers in York to see Hazel O Connor sing. Wow I have my Fred Perry on and stood in anticipation, ,just watching her belt out a few songs from the film,I actually felt like I was in the film from 1979,minus the trouble and all the skins etc.She spoke to me after and chatted a way ,what a star.
What a weekend the Friday was the trip to Nottingham to see the Specials and then Hazel O Connor on the Sunday. I go out on Friday night and I come on home on Saturday morning,and will you just politly say goodnight. It was just like being a teenager all over again . A WAY OF LIFE.Tad Stax SC. Billy.
