Recall - Spirit of the Sixties

While this footage isn't from the sixties, it is intended to convey the themes and styles from this era along with the music and youth culture and of course Fred Perry.

I made this film during my final year of uni. This music video/ fashion was produced in response to a hypothetical brief i developed for Fred Perry. This project explored the brands integral relationship with music and British youth culture.

I chose to do this project because of my own love for music and Fred Perry. I picked a local unknown band, Welcome Pariah, to front this project for their relationship with the music and style from this era. Throughout this project i wanted to explore the relationship between music and fashion and the impact it has and has had. There really is no other brand that can truly represent the integral relationship between music and fashion. Fred Perry has always and will always remain a massive part of music culture and of course British youth culture and its for this reason i love the brand and why i chose to make this film. There is not a lot more i can say about this video, so i will let it speak for itself. Enjoy...
