I bought my first Fred Perry years ago with a Nordstrom gift card I received for Christmas. When I found it, the twin-tipped collar accents inspired me, and the laurel wreath represented this shocking form of love & beauty to me. Not familiar with the brand then, I bought the shirt and was intrigued to Google the brand when I got home. Since then, I've saved my money (I'm a man of rather limited means as a college student) and have purchased an Argyle Cut & Sew shirt, two shoulder bags, a wallet, and two sweaters. I'm thrilled to have worked as hard as I have to be able to afford these lovely clothes and accessories. I even managed to go to the only Fred Perry store in the United States when in New York on Spring Break! I also love that Amy Winehouse was involved with the label, for her music enriched my soul. 2012 begins a new year for me, and I hope to discover more beautiful clothes to wear, and I’m thrilled that Fred Perry is a part of that. My name is Brett Hawkins and this is my Fred Perry story.
